Most of the game is fun, but the way enemies all rush you with no survival instinct at extract is incredibly unfun, and also just out of character for the basic troopers.
Personally, I keep smokes for this, but that does feel like gaming things a bit. They push very hard and even with headshots, a grenade, berserker, or just a few random guys can be lethal in a way that doesn’t match the rest of the level. I suspect area denial will help alleviate this some. Maybe a deployable suitcase sentry or decoy to draw some aggro away could help tremendously. Having more grenades per slot and taking mines does help a bit, but I often fall back to smoke.
