Intel should be more exciting

Admittedly I don’t what ideas I could bring to the table, but Intel as a resource just doesn’t seem all that exciting to use. Sure, it’s great to tell you where to find things like medkits and the like, but I would like to see it spent to actually sorta “change” the level a bit.

As a hypothetical, something like:

1. positioning a sniper in a point of interest to shoot when the area becomes aggressive

2. stashing equipment you purchased in a hiding spot in your level

3. hack into security cameras in certain regions so you can mark an area beforehand

4. bribe or blackmail a random (marked) enemy to turn on their foes when you engage their buddies in combat
